Mission

In several Eurobarometer surveys more than 40% of the EU-population finds that they have no say and that democracy is weak in Europe.

EPF aims to strengthen democracy in EU and its member states by turning the traditional European policy process on its head. Through deliberative dialogues and a wide range of tools EPF seeks to let the people formulate  visions and policy proposals across the 27 member states.

We advocate for the citizens to ensure that they are seriously considered by the European institutions or by the local authorities, national parliaments and governments.  It is the ambition that the forum will constitute Europe’s people’s counterpart to the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The aim of Europe’s People’s Forum is to strengthen European democracy at all levels at and between the voting days. By engaging the people and media in a development of policies and visions for the future EU or for the future of regional and national communities  the EPF seeks to better align future EU political strategies with the populations’ priorities.

The Europe’s People’s Forum (EPF) is an international non-profit organisation registered in Denmark, with 35 professional facilitating organisations and more than 50 civil society organisations from the 27 EU member states.
